We've probably all done a poor karaoke rendition of Livin' on a Prayer after a few too many cocktails, but we must admit, we never thought we'd see Prince William hopping on stage to belt out the soft rock classic!

The future monarch was at a charity gala in London's Kensington Palace last night, when he took to the stage to perform with Jon Bon Jovi and Taylor Swift. Reportedly, William accepted an invitation to join Eighties rocker Bon Jovi in an 'off-the-cuff' rendition, but only if Swift came too.

Speaking to press prior to the event, Swift said: "I don't think I have ever played in a palace before. So it will be really wonderful. This evening is so special... It is for a charity that as well as being very important to Prince William is also very important to me."

The Winter Whites Gala is to support homeless charity Centrepoint, of which Prince William has been a patron since 2005, following in his mother Diana's footsteps.

Benedict Cumberbatch, Tinie Tempah and James Blunt were also present at the star-studded event.
