There's no denying 2014 has been an excellent year for Pharrell - but he's just been given another reason to Get Happy. Yep, the singer and giant hat-wearer has been confirmed as a coach on Series 7 of The Voice US, replacing Cee-Lo Green.
NBC tweeted the news on Monday, saying:
"Okay, we can OFFICIALLY say it! WE ARE SO #HAPPY to announce PHARRELL WILLIAMS = #NewVoiceCoach for SEASON 7".
Williams tweeted back with: "This is going to be so fun".
Pharrell already appeared on the show in 2013 as one of Usher's mentors - and was so well received show producers were keen to snap him up.
Paul Telegdy of NBC Entertainment, said:
