Congratulations to Twilight dad, Peter Facinelli, because he has proposed to his girlfriend, actress Jaimie Alexander.
According to reports, the 41-year-old popped the question on Monday with a romantic gesture at one of New York City's famed landmarks.
A rep for the couple confirmed that he proposed to the Thor actress at the top of the Empire State Building. Romantic, much!?

A source told Us Weekly : "She knew it was coming but was overwhelmed during the proposal."

The couple, who both worked on the medical comedy-drama Nurse Jackie, were first linked in November 2012, eight months after Facinelli and his ex-wife Jennie Garth announced they were separating after 11 years of marriage.
The couple have not yet shared a date for their nuptials.
