The Iranian journalist, who recently launched women's magazine, Zanan-e Emruz (Today's Women), has been 'accused' of promoting feminist views and will have to face Iran's Press Court. It's not the first time Sherkat has had to defend herself to the authorities; previously editor of women's journal Zanan, the publication was forced to close for providing supposedly 'morally quesionable information'. Her work for press freedom and women's rights has won her a Courage in Journalsim award - you can read more about her inspiring career here.
