Just months after making her relationship with Samira Wiley public, Orange Is The New Black writer Lauren Morelli has filed for divorce from her husband of two years, Steve Basilone.
Samira and Lauren have been dating for a while after meeting on the set of the hit show, where Samira plays the role of lesbian inmate Poussey in the female prison.
Lauren previously explained that writing for the show helped her realise and explore her own sexuality. "I realised I was gay in fall 2012, one of my first days on the set," she previously wrote. "I am now out to my family, my friends, and most of my co-workers on Orange."

"I found a mouthpiece for my own desires and a glimmer of what my future could look like," Lauren continued.
We wish this super-cute new couple all the best!
After rumours that they've been dating for six months, Orange Is The New Black couple Samira Wiley and Lauren Morelli finally took their relationship public this week.
Samira, who plays Poussey Washington on the show, and Lauren, who is a writer for the hit series based in a women's prison, left Chateau Marmont in LA hand in hand, which to many onlookers confirmed the ongoing gossip that they were in a relationship.
Aww!
The pair have previously posted several Instagram photos of the two together, and partied together at the Emmys on Monday night, so their love affair hasn't exactly been under wraps, but we think the pair stepping out together in public means things may be becoming official.

Lauren, who was once married to a man, has previously spoken out about how she fell in love on set: "I went through it all on set: I fell in love with a woman, and I watched my life play out on screen. And now, as we are gearing up for the release of Season 2, it feels liberating and appropriate to live my life in front of you."
We think these two look great together!
