Blimey, Nick Grimshaw, the Radio 1 breakfast presenter, was rushed to hospital yesterday after he swallowed some glass during his radio show. Ouch.
The 29-year-old DJ, who has now been given the all-clear, told his 1.5 million Twitter followers: "Went to hospy, had X-rays, coughed it up, all fine now."
He also joked: "I can eat glass in a circus now if all else fails."
Luckily for Grimmy, Fearne Cotton was there to save the day and covered the last bit of his shift. She told listeners: "He's going to be absolutely fine. He's just gone to hospital to have a little check."
Phew.
