Watch on: Disney+
Starring: Amy Adams, Scoot McNairy, Zoë Chao
Plot: Adapted from the novel by Rachel Yoder, Nightbitch sees Amy Adams' visceral portrayal of an unnamed character referred to as Mother as she gets to grips with the animalistic nature behind motherhood. She becomes so deeply entrenched, in fact, that she becomes convinced that she is turning into a dog.
Watch on: Disney+

Plot: Uniting some iconic Hollywood female actors, Mother's Day tells a story of a family's multiple generations attempt to come together to celebrate the holiday.
Watch on: Amazon Prime Video
Starring: Brooke Shields, Miranda Cosgrove, Benjamin Bratt, Chad Michael Murray
Plot: Brooke Shields' Lana is thrown into a hilarious-but-awkward situation when she discovers that her daughter Emma has got engaged to the son of the man who broke her heart years ago. So naturally, they all end up in Thailand together for a destination wedding. Let the drama commence.
Watch on: Netflix
Starring: Jane Fonda, Jennifer Lopez
Plot: The most underrated Noughties chick flick IMO. It sees J-Lo's Charlie face off against, you guessed it, a rather terrifying mother-in-law in the form of Jane Fonda's Viola. Charlie finds herself at war with Viola, with rather hilarious consequences, as she fights to marry her “perfect man”.
