No word on how competent Doug is with hammers, but his tricorn game is very strong.
Aidan Turner has revealed that he was injured by a strong wave while filming the second season of Poldark.
The Irish actor, and GLAMOUR's sexiest man of the year winner, opened up about being hurt by a violent wave during filming for the hit BBC series. "We were filming me lifting Demelza out of a boat in the actual sea when this huge wave picked up the boat and slammed it into my head," he said.
The incident resulted in the 33 year-old dropping his co-star, Eleanor Tomlinson who plays Demelza, in the sea of the Cornish coast. "I dropped her in the water - not very Ross Poldark," he admitted, referring to his heroic character.
Following a surprisingly successful first season, Poldark is back for a second season on BBC One next weekend.

Actually, you might miss his chest rug because writer Debbie Horsfield ruled out nudity saying: "Unfortunately autumn is very chilly in Cornwall, so he won't be doing any of that."

New pictures have emerged from the filming of season two of Poldark and it appears that season one's lovebirds, Ross Poldark and beautiful servant girl Demelza, are still going strong. Phew.
The characters, played by Aidan Turner and Eleanor Tomlinson, were pictured kissing on Porthcurno beach on Monday afternoon, where filming for series two is currently taking place.
However, Turner has been continuing to hint in interviews that the next series will see Poldark struggle to choose between his love for his new wife Demelza and his lust for ex-fiancée Elizabeth.
The BBC is yet to schedule the new season but we imagine it will show mid-late next year.
Poldark stars Eleanor Tomlinson and Heida Reed were at our GLAMOUR Awards last night and we asked them what to expect from the second series of the hit BBC show.
Tomlinson, who plays Poldark's wife Demelza, told us to expect "heart wrenching affairs". 'Affairs'??? Poldark?? No!!
Reed, who plays Elizabeth, told us: "There's a lot of drama, a lot of action and a lot of people are going to turn on you. If you have an allegiance with someone you might feel very betrayed."
Hopefully Aidan Turner will do some more topless scything to make us all feel better.
