The 2026 MOBO Awards did not disappoint. From the soulful pop of Olivia Dean to the utter prowess of Raye, last night's ceremony was filled with outstanding musical talent.
Dean swept practically all of the major awards, including Album of the Year for The Art of Loving, Best Female Act, Best R&B/Soul Act and Song of the Year for “Man I Need." Meanwhile, RAYE won Video of the Year for “Where Is My Husband?” and Central Cee continued to cement his place as one of the most decorated rappers in MOBO history, taking home Best Hip Hop Act to add to his seven other MOBO trophies at home. There were some first time wins, too – namely FLO, who took home the gong for Best R&B/Soul Act.
The MOBO Awards also honoured actors for their contributions to film and TV last year, with Adolescence's Stephan Graham taking home Best Performance in a TV Show / Film. And of course, artists from around the diaspora were celebrated, too, with Wizkid and Vybz Kartel taking home Best African Music Act and Best Caribbean Act, respectively.
“This year’s nominees are a powerful reflection of the culture and moment we are living in," Kanya King CBE, Founder and CEO of MOBO Group, said. “Their voices matter — not only in how they soundtrack our lives, but in how they shape the future. From sharp, socially conscious lyricism to boundary-pushing creativity that defies genre, this generation of artists is deeply connected to their communities."
The ceremony in Manchester will already go down as one of the greatest parties of the year. Here's everything you need to know about the 2026 MOBO Awards.
