Miley Cyrus joined a load of celebs at the AmfAR Gala in Los Angeles on Wednesday night and she reportedly dropped $500,000 for charity after sipping a few drinks.
According to reports, Miley outbid Rihanna and Tom Ford and spent $300,000 on a painting of a naked woman by famed photographer Ryan McGinley. She then donated an additional $200,000 to the AIDS research organisation.
"I'm a little drunk. That's why I'm a half million deep," she told the crowd after taking the stage. "If I'm going to have a voice I would like to start an open dialogue about prevention and awareness and how people in the world have been affected by HIV and AIDS. Hopefully, I could break down people's walls that have been built up around sexuality."
She adds, "I'm obviously not too embarrassed to talk about these things, especially with young people."
