Gove refused to reveal what the song was because it was an "in-joke". The politician wasn't sure how to silence his new gadget, which was a gift from journalist and wife Sarah Vine, so Beyoncéhttps://beautysale.store/person/beyonce%3C/a%3E%27s "warblings" went out for all to hear.
"And so it was that just as the Chancellor of the Exchequer was explaining a particularly complex piece of fiscal policy to Her Majesty's assembled Cabinet, my husband (the Government Chief Whip, Michael Gove) mistakenly instructed his watch to play Beyoncéhttps://beautysale.store/person/beyonce%3C/a%3E%27s latest oeuvre," wrote Vine.
Vine is now considering giving her husband a Swatch watch to avoid similar future embarrassment.
