Did Uma Thurman get married again? Nope, that’s her daughter, Maya Hawke, AKA our beloved Robyn from Stranger Things. But wow, the resemblance is uncanny!
Congratulations are in order for Hawke and her new husband, Christian Lee Hutson, who officially tied the knot on Valentine’s Day in New York City. At least now they’ll never forget their anniversary… though that does mean one less bouquet of flowers and gift each year, sorry not sorry.
Christian Lee Hutson is a singer-songwriter and guitarist best known for his folk, Americana, and country-influenced sound. He’s released three studio albums so far: Beginners (2020), Quitters (2022), and Paradise Pop. 10 (2024).
He and Maya Hawke have been romantically linked since 2023, and clearly, it’s official now.
The 27-year-old actress and musician was an absolute vision in a sleeveless white Prada gown, gliding through the streets with her famous parents, exes Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, close behind. The guest list was full of stars, including former co-star and The White Lotus star Sam Nivola with his girlfriend Iris Apatow, former Little Women co-star Kathryn Newton, plus Maya’s Stranger Things co-stars. Because let’s be real: the friends who fight Demogorgons together, apparently, get married together too.
Here’s a full rundown of the Stranger Things cast who turned up to celebrate Maya Hawke’s Valentine’s Day wedding.
Joe Keery
It’s no surprise that Maya Hawke and Joe Keery might bond over more than just acting, as both have dropped some seriously successful music of their own. Keery was in attendance at the wedding, layering a mid-length black coat over a crisp blue shirt and topping it off with a black beanie to fend off the chilly February air.
Sadie Sink
Both Sadie Sink and Maya Hawke play fan-favourite characters on Stranger Things — Max and Robyn, respectively — and the redhead made sure to be there for the big day. Sporting a sleek, straightened blowout and an oversized fur coat, Sink was spotted laughing and chatting with her co-stars, clearly loving the celebration.
Finn Wolfhard
Finn Wolfhard also turned up to celebrate alongside his fellow co-stars. The actor, who plays Stranger Things’s Mike, looked effortlessly sharp in a slim-fitting dark suit layered over a crisp white shirt, with a scarf casually draped around his neck for a touch of relaxed February flair.
Gaten Matarazzo
Having conquered both TV screens and theatre stages, Gaten Matarazzo made time in his busy schedule to attend the wedding. He paired a crisp white shirt tucked into black trousers, left a few buttons undone for effortless charm, and completed the look with his signature old-school glasses.
Natalia Dyer
As two of the “older” women of the cast — read: not actually old, just a little more seasoned than the younger crew — it makes sense that Maya Hawke and Natalia Dyer would strike up a friendship. Dyer was spotted at the wedding in an all-black pantsuit, serving effortless chic as she mingled with her co-stars.
Caleb McLaughlin and Charlie Heaton
Both Caleb McLaughlin and Charlie Heaton were in attendance. Heaton’s presence isn’t much of a surprise, given that his girlfriend, Natalia Dyer, was also there, so worst-case scenario, he was a plus one! McLaughlin kept it classic in a black suit and tie, while Heaton layered a long black coat over charcoal grey trousers, striking that effortlessly moody vibe fans know and love.
Which Stranger Things stars didn't attend Maya Hawke's wedding?
Of course, not everyone could make the happy occasion — assuming they even received an invite. David Harbour, who plays Jim Hopper, was absent.
Two other missing faces? Millie Bobby Brown and Noah Schnapp. Some Stranger Things viewers speculate that Millie skipped because, at her own wedding, the cast were mostly absent too. Only Matthew Modine (Eleven’s dad) and Schnapp attended her celebrations — and even Millie’s two weddings, one intimate and one in Italy, were largely without her co-stars.
That said, it might just be logistics. In an Instagram post marking the end of Stranger Things, Millie wrote: “I love each and every one of you, and I will forever carry the memories and bonds we created together as a family. I love you, thank you.” Plus, Bobby Brown has a young child, which could’ve factored into her absence.
Rumours of tension in the cast have circulated for a while, especially after that SNL appearance where Caleb McLaughlin, Finn Wolfhard, and Gaten Matarazzo noticeably left Noah Schnapp out of the fun. No one has confirmed a feud, but the speculation isn’t stopping anytime soon.
Other notable no-shows included Winona Ryder and Jamie Campbell Bower, leaving fans to wonder who else missed the romantic Valentine’s Day bash.
