Maria is one of many characters in the fashion brand's short film and can be seen standing in a doorway wearing round sunglasses, wide-legged trousers, a dusty pink coat, and a check hijab. Her face says it all really - she knows she looks mega fierce.
As a result of the campaign picture, Maria Hidrissi is getting a lot of love on social media - and so is H&M for that matter.
One Facebook fan wrote: "AWESOME! Thanks H&M. There are a lot of Muslim women that LOVE shopping at H&M and now we'll love you even more!" Another wrote, "Well done H&M". And we lost count of how many clapping emojis we saw.
