But now, the iconic British bag label are trying to make their covetable handbags more accessible to your average fashion-loving girl, by launching a more affordable line of accesories. Now, we're not talking Topshop prices, but the price tags certainly aren't as eye-watering as previous 'It' bags.

Named "Tessie", the new bags hark back to the classic 1970s styles that the label launched with - you'll find a tote, hobo, satchel and clutch in autumnal hues - all gorgeous. "Heritage", "classic" and "practical" are the buzzwords Mulberry are using to describe the new collection.

Priced from £495-£695, the label are hoping these new bags will boost their fortunes after suffering a series of financial woes. Seeing as some of the higher prices for Mulberry bags alienated die-hard bags fans in recent years, we think they are on to a winner with this less pricey line.
