This season of Love Island really has been special — and I'm not sure if I mean that to be #complimentary or #derogatory. But who won Love Island 2025 and what's next for them?
Before we get to that, let's reflect. What a season it has been. The drama has been off the charts, with rivalries, love triangles and shock recouplings coming at us left, right and centre. We've also had the pleasure of meeting some of the show's most (arguably) toxic guys… ever?
I, for one, am very glad that I'll never need to hear Harry carelessly bragging about how he manages to play with people's emotions and keep people on the hook while managing to treat them like total crap.
I'm also happy to admit that I'm pretty pleased we'll never have to see the girls get pitted against each other as the guys giggle in the background, that at least the attention is off them. It's not always been a fun watch, but it has been an undeniably addictive one. And I'll certainly be taking away some valuable lessons in good posture from Yas.
And we've finally reached the finish line. After weeks of grafting and chatting and recoupling, who won Love Island 2025? Following the August 4th finale, here's everything to know.
From emotional abuse to ‘alpha male’ worship, this year’s villa bros are toxic and terrifyingly relatable.

Who won Love Island 2025?
Drumroll please, these are our Love Island 2025 winners and their runner-ups, as well as each of their journeys in the villa.
Love Island 2025 winners: Toni and Cach
Toni and Cach are our Love Island 2025 winners!
Toni was the UK villa's first American islander — and she certainly took a leading role in the drama this season. After falling for Harrison, a footballer living in the States, she became embroiled in one of the most drawn out love triangles we've ever seen. Basically, Harrison came back from Casa Amor with Lauren, claiming that she was the one for him. Meanwhile, Toni had recoupled with the sweet and patient Cach.
For the next few weeks, Toni alternated between swearing off Harrison for life and jumping back into his arms whenever he showed any sign of interest in her. It culminated in a shocking recoupling in which Harrison essentially told Toni to pick him — even though he had publicly proclaimed his focus was on Lauren. A day later, Lauren was dumped from the villa and after she begged him to join her, he somewhat reluctantly followed her leaving Toni behind.
She eventually found her way back to Cach who, despite his embarrassment, seemed happy enough to start things up again. And tbh, it feels right given they both dropped the ‘L’ bomb the evening before the Love Island finale! We're here for it.
2nd place Love Island couple: Harry and Shakira
Yikes? I'm not sure how to explain what happened with this couple, but I'll do my best. It all began when Shakira chose to couple up with Harry. He was really into it… except for the fact that he was also really into Helena. The pair agreed to sneak off to the hideaway together. A few days later, Helena picked Harry in a recoupling. The pair went strong for a few days — if “strong” means Harry flirting with anyone and everyone while Helena convinced herself she could simply laugh it off.
Soon enough, Harry and Shakira were ready to give things another shot. Which they did. That lasted about a week before Harry had decided that it was actually Helena he wanted to be with. Ok, finally, things seemed to be resolved. Shakira had a half-hearted relationship with her villa bestie Conor.
Literal weeks later – after proclaiming he was all for Helena and asking her to be exclusive — Harry changed his mind and started flirting with Shakira again. Because why not? Helena was, understandably, furious. Shakira also announced that she had no interest in getting back with someone like Harry. Rejoice! Perhaps Harry would be left with no one.
However, within a few days, Shakira had crawled back into his arms and Helena had decided she simply couldn't lose his friendship — and Harry… seemingly got everything he wanted. Make it make sense.
3rd place Love Island couple: Yasmin and Jamie
Yasmin, fondly called YasGPT by the internet, may look a little bit like some very good AI thanks to her peerless posture, but she's a total legend. Yasmin entered the villa with the fearlessness of a true bombshell. She spent time coupled up with Shea, Giorgio and Conor, before she found a real connection with Jamie.
I don't have much to say about this couple other than they're super cute, seem super happy and were, mercifully, pretty drama-free.
4th place Love Island couple: Angel and Ty
Ty entered the villa after coupling up with Shakira during Casa Amor. He was left partnerless pretty soon after that. When Angel entered the villa on day 37, the pair pretty quickly coupled off. Angel spent a few days flirting with Harry, but both Ty and Angel pretty quickly made it clear that they were all for each other.
The villa has had a major glow up.
