It's all happening — another summer of grafting, recouplings and fake tan is upon us. That's right — Love Island is well and truly underway. We've already met plenty of new islanders over the last few weeks — and this week, we've met 12 more with the annual visit to Casa Amor.
Read on to find out a little more about the men and women who are on the hunt for love (and maybe an incidental Boohoo deal, too, who's to say?) this summer – including the shock arrival of Joey Essex, who made a surprise appearance during the show's launch episode. Here's the Love Island 2024 cast in full.
Lucy Graybill

Lucy is Love Island series 11's first Scottish contestant.
“I’m not afraid to pull the boys. We are all there for the same reasons but I will go about it in a respectful way, staying true to myself,” she said before entering the villa. “They have got to be good-looking but also need great banter. I like to wind my partner up and have some fun. I want someone who can be my best friend as well as my boyfriend.”
Emma Milton

Emma Milton was one of the Casa Amor bombshells. She is rumoured to have had a romantic connection with ex-islander Teddy Soares. She is also rumoured to have a past with footballer Jack Grealish and with this year's islander Joey Essex.
Ruby Dale

Ruby, who entered during Casa Amor, has her eye on Wil.
“I am going to be a very dramatic Islander, a very loud Islander and a very entertaining Islander. I always get what I want,” she said, adding that she was looking for “a brain.”
Diamanté Laiva

Diamanté is the owner of a natural beauty brand. “I have so many different moods, I can’t even describe to you what kind of person I am for starters," she said. “If I have a problem with something, whoever it is, I’ll tell them right then and there. I don’t feel the need to whisper behind someone’s back.” In other words, she's not afraid to bring a little drama.
Ellie Jackson

Job: Senior executive assistant
Apparently, Cardiff is a pretty small place — upon entering during Casa Amor week, Ciaran whispered, "I know the first one. I think I slid into her DMs." Ellie greeted him with “Hello, stranger.”
Ellie has already revealed that she hopes to reconnect with Ciaran in the villa. "Wil and Sean also seem like great guys, so I would be up for getting to know them both a little better," she added.
Jessica Spencer

Job: Fashion stylist
Jessica is looking for an honest guy who is good at communicating. “I’m funny, flirty, sassy and ready to find love,” she said. "I don’t take myself too seriously and am good at going with the flow, but I only have a short time in Casa Amor so I am ready to find the one."

Hugo, one of the Casa Amor boys, is already proving to be popular with the girls from the main villa. Apparently, he has his eye on Uma and Jess. “I like Uma, I think she carries herself well and seems very respectful," he said. "The same with Jess as my type is brunette.”
Jake Spivey

Jake plays as a full back for Rochford Hundred Rugby Club — and during his first episode on the show, Nicole admitted that he would probably be seen as Ciaran's biggest competition thanks to his rugby playing past. “I’m confident, flirty and I’m not going to be afraid to put myself on the front line and hit the ground running with the grafting,” he said of himself.
Moziah Pinder

Moziah is a personal trainer and a fitness influencer — and apparently, he knows ex-islander Adam Collard.
“Grace is my type, the way she carries herself is very attractive to me,” he said. "Uma is stunning and I think we would get on really well. Also, Mimii is a great girl."
Blade Siddiqi

“I want a Queen by my side,” said Blade. “I'm hoping to find that in the Villa with someone who is down to earth and up for a laugh. I would consider myself as a kind and considerate person.”
Blade caught Grace's eye almost as soon as he entered the villa — and luckily, Blade also had his eye on her. “Grace is stunning; she is the spitting image of my ex-girlfriend,” he said. "She's an absolute worldie and seems really caring and considerate. She does her best to keep other people's feelings in mind and seems like a fun girl and quite mature as well."

One of the younger Casa Amor boys, Joel Kirby is a content creator from Devon who has just finished his degree.
The qualities he's looking for? “Having a sense of humour and being funny. I don't like a girl that takes anything or themselves too seriously,” he said. "I need to have a joke with you. And I like intelligence. If there's nothing in the head then we won't get along. That won't interest me."

Jessy Potts

Jessy caused quite the stir when she entered the villa. After choosing Joey for a date, she later stole him from Grace. Soon, the pair had snuck off to the terrace where they shared a kiss, and shortly after that, Grace decided to call things off with Joey.
By the looks of things, Jessy has been planning her Love Island appearance for quite some time. In fact, last year, she took to TikTok to share what she would wear if she were on the show — and she's already actually worn some of those outfits!

Trey chose to take Jess on a date when he entered the villa and later, he chose her in a recoupling. Although Jess initially seemed drawn to Trey, she later admitted that he was giving her the ick.
“Something that a lot of women like that they wouldn't expect from me but I’m a bit of a geek and academic,” said Trey. "I’ve got a First Class Economics Degree and have completed my masters as well. I also play chess and was in the chess club at University.”
Matilda Draper

Matilda was quickly drawn to Sean upon entering the villa and the pair have seemed pretty close ever since.
“If things get too serious in the villa, I'm going to throw in a little joke or a 'would you rather'. I'm obsessed with playing would you rather, I've got a list of 80 questions on my phone, it's the best thing ever — I often think of questions and write them down before I go to bed,” she said.

Konnor is a Cornish barber who also plays rugby for St Austell RFC. He hasn't had the best luck since entering the villa. After he stole Grace from Joey, she quickly made it clear that she was only interested in friendship with him.

Grace caused a huge stir upon entering the villa. Joey instantly recognised her as a girl he had had a holiday fling with last summer and the pair soon decided to couple up leaving Samantha to go home. However, Joey has since coupled up with Jessy and Grace decided to cut things off with him. With Casa Amor underway, Grace seems to have warmed to Blade.
Tiffany Leighton

Tiffany had a fairly short stint in the villa. After entering, Ronnie took an interest in the HR coordinator, leading to his second love triangle. Although Ronnie claimed that he was willing to give Tiffany all of his attention, she soon decided that she wasn't feeling a spark. She was dumped on June 23rd.
Omar Nyame

Omar Nyame joined the villa as surprise bombshell, saving Mimii from an early dumping. Omar is a PE teacher from Croydon in London who describes himself as “high energy, high frequency and vibes.”
As it turns out, he might already know the Love Island host Maya Jama, as he appears to be friends with rapper Stormzy – who just so happens to be her boyfriend. Omar and Stormzy were even photographed together at the 2023 GRM Gala back in 2023.
Uma Jammeh

Uma was the second bombshell who made a memorable entrance in which she kissed each of the blindfolded boys, before whisking Ayo off to the hideaway.
As Uma said before entering the villa, she may be one of the youngest contestants, but she's ready to find her match. “Now is a good time for me, I’m young," she said. "I’ve been single for my whole life, it’s about time I’m not single anymore. I’m ready for a boyfriend!”
Uma also added that while she might not always make a good first impression, she is all about the good vibes. “When people first see me, they usually think I’m going to be horrible, they are always surprised when I’m not!” she said. "I’ll bring confidence, and I like to think I’m funny. I’m gonna be the funniest girl in the villa!”
Joey Essex

Joey, who is being touted as Love Island's first-ever celebrity contestant, is a seasoned reality star – having found fame on The Only Way Is Essex back in 2011, he has since starred on Celebrity Ex on the Beach, Celebs Go Dating and its spin-off Celebs Go Dating: The Mansion. He has also appeared on other reality shows including Dancing on Ice, Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins and I'm A Celebrity.
He spoke to The Sun ahead of his surprise entry to the villa, saying: “I’m extremely single right now, so I’m praying that I’m going to walk out of the villa hand in hand with the love of my life. That’s my main aim and all I care about.”
Harriet Blackmore

Munveer comes to the villa after exhausting the London dating scene. “The opportunity to be surrounded by good looking people in a villa under the sun is an absolute no brainer!” he said. “I’m 30 years old and I need to start thinking seriously about the next step, and what better place?”

Another self-proclaimed “big personality”, Patsy is proud of being “loud” and “bossy” — as she told ITV, her family say she “rules the roost”.
“I’ve got something very special about me which is my disability, it’s a condition I was born with called Ebs Palsy,” she explained. “It doesn't define who I am , but it makes me a little different, although I’ve learnt to get on with it and It’s never held me back.”

After all of her friends settled down, Jess is ready to find her match.
Love Island 2024 contestant Jess says: “I think I’m single because I don’t underestimate the fact that I’m hard work.
“I know what I want and I'm not easily pleased. When you’re a loud, outgoing woman, sometimes it can intimidate men — men don’t always want that. I think that can sometimes put people off me because I am quite loud and you can hear me before you see me. Some men love that though.”
Her mum was on a reality dating show, too.
Ayo Odukoya

Ayo Odukoya is a model and ex-footballer for Redbridge who is joining the villa after never having seen the show in the past.
“For me, I haven’t watched the show," he told Closer. “I’m not so into the mix of the show and what’s going on. I’ve of course had a look at a few seasons as I was going through the process, just to have a look.”
After being approached by the team, he couldn't say no. “It seems like something to have a go at,” he said. “Of course, you can’t go wrong trying to find that love again — that is something that would be amazing to find if possible. I don’t really like being outside too much, I’ve been outside recently and it’s not fun outside! I do prefer to be indoors chilling with that person I can do stuff with. It would be nice to have that with somebody again.”
Mimii Ngulube

Sean Stone

Love Island contestant Sean, who literally sells sweets for a living, describes himself as “5’11, tall, dark and handsome. Not quite 6 foot.” Oh, and he also has a “discreet” third nipple.
As for his personality? “Very loving, caring and thoughtful. I’m the kind of guy that if you broke down on the motorway and needed your tyre changed, I’d be there at any time of night.”
The villa has had a major glow up.
