Weāre not big on regrets, but we have one major one concerning Love Is Blind season one. We got so hooked on the drama, the twists, the drunken fights and the running screaming down the street in a wedding dress (never forget), that we binged it too soon.Ā
The Netflix reality TV series, hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, was a stand-out moment during the hellscape that was 2020. It went from fringe release to top-of-the-homepage cult watch within days, capturing our collective pop culture imagination in the process thanks to its quite frankly bonkers premise.
If you havenāt yet seen it (and if not, why not?) it started with 15 women and 15 men going on speed dates in pods where they could hear, but not see each other. They continue to date until theyāve found someone to get engaged to (yes, after a matter of days) and only clap eyes on each other for the first time after theyāve said yes. Then itās honeymoon and wedding four weeks later.

What happened in season one of Love Is Blind?
The couples themselves are just as off-the-wall as the premise, with characters including Giannina, whose totally extra levels of drama would not be out of place in a daytime soap (think, screaming insults at her fiancĆ© about their sex life and the aforementioned running in a wedding dress).Ā
Jessica, whose drunken rants will make you realise youāve never really done anything that bad after a few too many wines. Then of course, proving that love really is blind, we all fell for the real deal ā too-adorbable-to-handle show couple Lauren and Cameron.
