Warning: Spoilers for the first 5 episodes of Love Is Blind season 7, ahead.

Leo Braudy may not have made it to Mexico, but he sure left a mark on Love Is Blind season 7. Throughout the first five episodes, the controversial art dealer soaked up a great deal of screen time as he wavered between contestants Hannah Jiles and Brittany Wisniewski. Unfortunately for him, Hannah chose to go with her other love interest, Nick Dorka, sparking some of Leo's cringiest moments of the season.

Even though he literally discussed engagement rings with Brittany earlier in the episode, Leo berated Hannah for her decision before pretending the split was mutual and begging her to put in a good word with Brittany… In the end, Brittany accepted his proposal but production chose not to invite the pair to Mexico and the couple eventually broke up during their own trip to Miami.

However, Leo's love triangle is not the reason he became the season's most meme-able character (so far). Fans were quick to point out how often Leo brought up his inheritance and generational wealth, despite concerns about how money affects his relationships. “Maybe Leo wouldn’t need to be worried about people using him for his money if it wasn’t every other sentence that came out of his mouth,” one viewer posted on X.com.

Although Leo didn't have a problem with Netflix changing their Instagram bio to “art dealer,” he seems to be pushing back on this narrative — and he's using other contestants to make his case. For starters, he shared multiple clips from Tyler Francis' appearance on The Viall Files podcast. During the episode, Tyler claims the art dealer “didn't mention money to us” beyond sharing that his Rolex was “passed down” from his great-grandfather.

While Leo may not have discussed money with Tyler, he definitely talked about his inheritance with some of the guys. "I grew up financially very well-off," he tells three men in episode one, per Business Insider. “I'm not trying to build an influencer career. I'm a rich f*cking art dealer. I grew up, like, I went to a country club, went to private school. My college was paid for.”

Moving on! Leo went on to share a TikTok exchange with Ally Dawson, a lesser-known contestant from season 7. After responding to her “hilarious” TikTok about his money, she replied, “Had I known you were Richie Rich maybe we’d go for a pod round 2 👀🤗.”

He then joked, “Musta forgot to tell you. What's ur Venmo?”

Leo posted a screenshot of the exchange on Instagram, saying, “If you notice, I never talked about money with her either… weird.” He captioned his Instagram Reel, “BuT Le0 I thoUgHT aLL U tAlkEd aBOuT wAs MoNeY 🥴🥴.”

Still, many fans are not convinced that he's been misrepresented by the reality show. One fan replied, “Maybe cuz you didn’t click with Ally but when you did click with someone, you def flexed that paperrrrr.” Another wrote, “O so only 12/15 dates? 😂”

So, how are we feeling, Love Is Blind fans? Do you want to see Leo show up at the reunion or are you ready to close the cheque book on this storyline? Either way, the next three episodes of Love Is Blind drop on Netflix on October 9.
