Warning: Major spoilers for Love Is Blind US season seven, episodes 1 through 12, ahead.
Garrett and Taylor of Love Is Blind US season seven may not have been the most dramatic couple in the pods—that honor goes to the tangled web that was Hannah, Nick, Leo, and Brittany, of course—but that doesn’t mean their journey was without its challenges.
The two initially bonded over their shared love of science and seemed like a perfect match energetically and intellectually. But even they expressed concern that their shared ambitious and independent natures might become a hindrance once they start factoring in real-world logistics.
Plus, if past Love Is Blind US couples have taught us anything, it's that even the best of matches might not last once they leave the pods. So, did Garrett and Taylor beat the statistics? Here's everything we know about their relationship and what went down on season seven of Love Is Blind US. Spoilers ahead.
Who walked down the aisle and who walked away?

Who are Garrett and Taylor of Love Is Blind season 7?
Garrett Josemans is a 33-year-old quantum physicist with an impressive CV. According to an article for Longwood University, where he received Bachelor's degrees in Physics and Maths, Garrett worked “under one of the Navy’s most published quantum physicists, where he performs theoretical and experimental quantum mechanics research in such areas as weak value amplification and the bunching of light quanta.”
Yeah, I have no idea what any of that means — but it sounds fancy! If his Instagram is anything to go by, Garrett seems to spend all of his spare time spearfishing, with one notable exception: modelling at New York Fashion Week.
Taylor Krause, 30, is an energy policy consultant who says in her social media bio that she's “doing it for the plot and the planet.” She seems to stay quite busy as well. In the past year alone, she's travelled to New York City, Mexico, San Diego, Switzerland and Oregon.
According to her LinkedIn profile, she's a policy manager who focuses on “clean hydrogen energy.” She also has a lot of thoughts on the intersection of dating and climate communication.
Love!
What went down on the show?
Garrett and Taylor's Love Is Blind journey started off strong. They first bonded over their shared love of science. She has a hydrogen tattoo on her wrist, he's got a quantum equation inked on the back of his arm. If that's not a sign, what is?
They were also able to communicate through some of their initial concerns, like Taylor's decision to not share her ethnicity because she wanted to know, truly, that love is blind. (Something Garrett said he respected.) Meanwhile, he at first mistook her careful way of talking as a sign that she might be holding back or “hiding something.” (Something Taylor took as “good feedback.”)
Things continued trending upward from there in the first six episodes. They got engaged, met IRL, and seemed to connect as well physically as they did emotionally. If anything, they worried that it could all be too good to be true — that once they left Mexico and entered the real world, it would be difficult to blend their already very full lives together.
They definitely have real-life things to work through. Primarily, that Taylor is set on moving to San Diego to be closer to her family once she has children, and Garrett is a born and raised Virginian. However, the couple discussed this maturely and rationally, and Garrett told Taylor that he was willing to move to California if that’s what she wanted, even if it would be upsetting and difficult for his family at first.
Another green flag: When Garrett met Taylor's friends, they were blown away by how happy she seemed, and they appeared to be genuinely excited for her. A guy your friends immediately take to? Now that’s (maybe) true love.
And while the couple did have one major argument on the show (over Garrett fudging some details about liking a text from an ex) they worked it out. At the end of the day, these two seem to have a real connection and love for one another.
So, it wasn’t a surprise when they made it to the altar, and both said yes. We love love!
Did they get married on the show and are they still together?
Yes, they got married on the show! We will have to wait and see at the reunion whether they are still in the honeymoon stage.
