Lorde has revealed that she is not a part of Taylor Swift’s famous ‘squad’. In an interview with Sunrise, the New-Zealand singer claims "I never hang out with those people".
This is not the first time that Lorde has spoken out publicly about her relationship with the pop princess. Only last month, Lorde compared her friendship with Tay Tay as “having a friend with an autoimmune disease”. To The Guardian, Lorde said, "It’s like having a friend with very specific allergies. There are certain places you can’t go together. Certain things you can’t do. There are these different sets of considerations within the friendship." After backlash from Swifties, the 20-year old singer quickly backtracked with an apologetic tweet.
Lorde and Taylor have been friends since 2013 and have shared their tight-knit friendship on Instagram as well as on the red carpet. But, could this latest insult be too hard to Shake it Off?
