Lindsay Lohan is the queen of noughties nostalgia, giving us The Parent Trap, Mean Girls, Freaky Friday and Just My Luck, but it's been a while since the actress graced our screens with a chick flick.

Ever since she gave us that rendition of Jingle Bell Rock in Mean Girls dressed as a flirty Santa, we've been waiting for a Christmas film from LiLo, and now it seems she's gearing up to gift us with a festive romantic comedy set to drop on Netflix on 10th November this year.

And, it looks like she's assembled an elite glam squad to help her prepare for the renewed spotlight ahead of the press circuit.

Recently, we've seen Lindsay post-behind-the-scenes shots to Instagram of her serving up some very glam lewks. A picture posted to her Stories on Monday night shows the actress rocking a soft smokey eye, natural glossy lips and enviably groomed brows, created by Kristofer Buckle, who also paints the faces of Mariah Carey, Christina Aguilera and Blake Lively.

Plus she's doing Cady Heron proud by reinstating the millennial side-parting, with beautifully sleek loose waves created by hairstylist Danielle Priano whose other clients include Vanessa Hudgens, Hailey Bieber and Gigi Hadid.

The actress also previously posted a different picture a week before of another stunning beauty look, created by the same glam squad (it's unclear if both pictures were taken on the same day). In it, LiLo wore an almost-red lip, peachy cheeks, defined feline lashes and that famous side-parting once again.

Back to that film we teased you with, though? Falling For Christmas sounds like exactly the sort of cosy, nuzzly and ridiculously unlikely love story we need to cuddle up in front of and forget our troubles this winter. Think: Confessions Of A Teenage Drama Queen meets The Princess Switch…and Bridget Jones Diary. According to Netflix the plot follows “a spoiled heiress (Lindsay Lohan) suffering from amnesia after a skiing accident who lands in the care of a lodge owner (Chord Overstreet [of Glee fame]) and his daughter.”

Cue – we're assuming – a change of heart, a will-they-won't-they romance and some seriously snug backdrops complete with snow, sledges and twinkling fairy lights.

We await your return, Ms Lindsay Lohan.
