They might be up against each other for the Best Actor award at the Oscars, but Eddie Redmayne has said that Leonardo DiCaprio deserves to win for his gruelling, bear-wrestiling role in The Revenant.
Redmayne - who is nomiated for his role in The Danish Girl said: "[Leonardo is] definitely going to win and should. I feel excited just to be invited to the party, frankly."
Eddie and Leo's competition for the Best Actor gong are Bryan Cranston (Trumbo), Matt Damon (The Martian), and Michael Fassbender (Steve Jobs). Leo's been nominated five times for an Academy Award - but has never taken home the golden statuette. Will this finally be his year? If you've slept in an animal carcass and eaten raw bison liver, you're going to want an Oscar to show for it.
