And today in 'What! They dated?' news, it turns out Mr Schu and Rachel Berry were an item. Or rather, Lea Michele dated fellow Glee alumni Matthew Morrison back in the day.
In her upcoming book, Brunette Ambition (which, by the way, we REALLY need to get our hands on), Lea admitted that after years of denying a relationship between her and Morrison, they actually did date - but very briefly and way before they both starred in Glee:
"When we shot the pilot, I met Cory Monteith, Kevin McHale, Amber Riley, and Chris Colferhttp://www.usmagazine.com/celebrities/chris-colfer for the first time," she said. "I had worked on Broadway with Jenna Ushkowitz and Matthew Morrison before. Matt had been a friend of mine for years, and in fact we'd actually dated back in the day for a Broadway beat."
Lea had previously laughed off rumours that the two dated, telling Hollywood.com:
"I've known Matt for years...He's been a friend of mine from New York. People are going to make things up. I think it's just because we really are so close."
Well, it turns out that unlike many celeb rumours, people weren't making ANYTHING up at all - Lea was just keeping it all under wraps.
