Ready for a good laugh? You're in luck, because Last One Laughing is finally back for a its much-anticipated second season.

The first season of the Prime series proved that absolutely nothing is funnier than watching a bunch of the funniest comedians trying not to crack up. The premise is simple. With Jimmy Carr (king of the funny laugh) hosting, a group of comedians are tasked with making each other laugh — the last one not laughing, wins.

And there were some incredible attempts. Who could forget Bob Mortimer's wild, carrot-filled magic show? Or, for that matter, his date with Richard Ayoade? And, of course, Joe Wilkinson's unhinged RNLI speech.

David Mitchell

Comedian David Mitchell is a very familiar face in the UK comedy circuit. A panelist on Would I Lie to You and a guest on pretty much all of the other panel shows, he certainly has plenty of experience coming up with jokes designed to make his fellow comedians crack up.

Mitchell has had a long career in comedy that began with the iconic, hilarious Peep Show along with his sketch show That Mitchell and Webb Look. He's also appeared in a few drama and comedy shows, including the recent BBC detective show Ludwig and Shakespeare comedy Upstart Crow.

Diane Morgan

Diane Morgan will be a tough one to keep a straight face at. Known for her deadpan comedy, Morgan has a comedy series with her character Philomena Cunk, a painfully ill-prepared documentarian who conducts some of the most bizarre interviews with real-life experts you've ever seen. You might also recognise her as Liz from Motherland or the titular Mandy.

Celebrity Traitors king Alan Carr is, obviously, just as hilarious as he is treacherous. Before his star turn in last year's first series of Celebrity Traitors, Carr's career stretches back around two decades when he won the City Life Best Newcomer of the Year and the BBC New Comedy Awards. You've probably seen him as a team captain in 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, RuPaul's Drag Race UK and the sitcom Changing Ends.

Sam Campbell

One of comedy's whackiest figures, Australian Sam Campbell has a great habit of always saying the most unexpected things — a winning quality for a show like this one.
