There's no denying that Kylie Jenner has a pretty major wardrobe (you only have to catch a glimpse of her seemingly endless collection of Bottega, Versace and Hermès pieces - and that Chanel tennis racket - to realise that), but it seems she may have been looking to her well-known namesake for style inspiration this weekend.
Heading out in London last night - yes, while the rest of us were in our pyjamas, knees deep in our Sunday night skincare routine - the beauty mogul channelled one of style icon Kylie Minogue's most memorable looks to date in the form of a loosely-hooded vest.
Reminiscent of the white iteration Minogue wore in her 2001 video for Can't Get You Out Of My Head, you'd be forgiven for presuming that Jenner's was a more contemporary take on the Y2K look.
In fact, however, the silver chainmail top by Paco Rabanne was pulled from the brand's autumn/winter 1997 archive, making it almost exactly the same age as Kylie herself who turns twenty-five on Wednesday.
Pairing the statement vintage piece with a mixed-denim patchwork jean and pointed perspex heel, Jenner's nostalgic look for a night out at London nightclub Tape with her boyfriend Travis Scott was undoubtedly - and appropriately - a more relaxed take on Minogue's iconic cut-out mini dress moment.

Of course, style inspiration aside, there are some difficulties that come with sharing your name with another major celebrity.
In 2015 Kylie Jenner and Kylie Minogue were involved in a legal battle after Jenner attempted to trademark the name ‘Kylie’ for her cosmetic and clothing lines. Two years later, however, Minogue's attempts to block the move were successful.
Speaking earlier this summer on US talk show Watch What Happens Live, Kylie Minogue made it clear that the awkward situation was nothing personal.
We caught up with the singer at Cannes Film Festival.

“It was just business, obviously,” she explained when asked about the situation. “When I was named Kylie… I think I've only ever met one person older than me who's called Kylie, so it's kind of unusual. I've spent a lifetime protecting my brand and building my brand, so it was just something that had to be done.”
“We came to an agreement,” she explained, before making it clear that there is no bad blood between the Minogue and the Jenner families and admitting that she'd “love to meet them”.
Who else is up for a Kylie-squared red carpet twinning moment in the near future? Met Gala, we're looking at you.
