Tom Hiddleston, Brie Larson and Samuel L Jackson star in a film that also features giant spiders, skull-dinosaur-creatures, a load of bombs and fire, John C Reilly sporting an enormous beard...and that's before we've even got to Kong himself, who also spends quite a lot of time looking cross and crushing helicopters with his bare hands. PHEW.

So just another quiet arthouse film released in time for Oscars season then.

Kong: Skull Island is released in the UK on March 10.
