Kim Kardashian, the star who basically introduced us to contouring, has announced she is kind of over the trend.

Speaking at Vogue Festival this weekend, Kim told Charlotte Tilbury she's moved past contouring and now prefers a more subtle strobed look.

"I think right now it's more about nontouring, like real skin with less make-up on it - I'm trying to wear less... and my husband loves me without make-up."

She continued: "I'm really into strobing now; so just highlighting the skin without using bronzer. I love contouring and I don't think I'd stop contouring my nose-I know people think I've had a nose job but it really is just make-up!"

So just which products does Kim now reach for when she's on the move? If it's not her contouring kits, just what is it?!

"Now when I travel I just bring a small make-up case, and I'm content with that," she said.

"An eyelash curler, a mini Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in the perfect nude that she created for me, mascara-Charlotte's Legendary Lashes is my favorite-my Joe Blasco foundation, a little MAC kabuki brush, a gold eye pencil by Kardashian Beauty, a small pot of powder, blush and my Smashbox bronzer."

The real question we were left with was just what is this mystical 'nontouring' trend? Well - nontouring is essentially a rather beautiful combination of contouring and strobing. It provides a bronzy glow but without the defined, harsh tan/highlight lines. Basically, the more dewy and natural looking your skin looks, the better.

To recreate the look, we suggest using a glow-enhancing primer, followed by a dewy BB cream, then a cream highlighter with a hint of bronze.
