Kim Kardashian just got a seriously glowing review for her famously cinching Skims bodysuits – according to one TikTok creator, they are potentially life-saving.
22-year-old Angelina Wiley made a video back in May – which has since gone viral – sharing her shocking experience with gun violence on New Year's Eve 2022.
“Kim Kardashian saved my life,” she began the clip, in which she went on to share that she was wearing her Skims bodysuit on the night of the shooting.

"This New Year's I got shot four times. The night I got shot, under my dress I was wearing a Skims shaping bodysuit,” she said. “It was so tight on me that it literally kept me from bleeding out.”
Angelina added: “I recommend it. I’m definitely going to buy some more, I mean I should wear it everyday. It’s like body armour for women. Call it fate, or Jesus, but I’mma call it Kim!”

Kim has since seen and responded to the video, by sharing it on her Instagram Story and writing: “Wowwww,” alongside a praying hands emoji.
Since the horrifying shooting, Angelina has made a number of TikTok videos about her recovery, with many commenters tagging Kim and suggesting she support her. “Your sense of humour about it is so amazing, I’m glad you’re safe! @Kim Kardashian help a girl out,” one wrote, with another adding: “They sent me a free bodysuit for the original one being miscoloured. They BETTER send you the whole line.”

Angelina, known as Nina, was caught amid gunfire during a night out in Kansas City in the early hours of 1 January 2023. Her GoFundMe page describes how she was “was struck by no less than three bullets, one of which remains inside of her”.
In a later video, she described further how she thought the Skims bodysuit had saved her life. “If I wasn't wearing it… where my stomach would have been, it would have hit different,” she said. “The way my stomach fat was pushed made it hit the fattier part instead.”
Angelina also lamented how her Skims purchase was brand new and had to be cut off by doctors – adding that the brand had given her a discount and refunded her for the bodysuit. “Kim needs to send you everything she sells!” another viewer responded.
