Never say Kim Kardashian doesn’t commit. At an event celebrating her Skims collaboration with Swarovski on 7 November, the reality star wore more Swarovski crystals than a Rockefeller chandelier and not much else.
Kardashian’s ’fit consisted of a backless, sleeveless top made entirely of chunky white crystals and held together with delicate chains in the back. To match the top, she added a crystal miniskirt, which she layered over grey – presumably Skims – bicycle shorts. If diamonds are a girl’s best friend, then crystals are the girl you meet in the bathroom of a club who lends you a tampon and tells you how gorgeous you are no matter what that jerk out there says.
Kardashian kept her glittery theme going with translucent heeled sandals and a clear white manicure, adding a delicate crystal anklet for good measure. Once again, she wore her hair in a tousled updo style, with her face-framing bangs left loose around her eyes.
But wait, as they say, there’s more! Kardashian didn’t just cover her body with Swarovski crystals; she also seems to have rolled up to the event in a crystal-covered taxi with a vanity plate reading “Kim K.”
I think Marilyn Monroe would be proud.
