Kendall Jenner has cut her hair the shortest she's gone yet

She's swapped out a platinum coquette lob for an ultra cropped boy bob.

Being a model, Kendall Jenner is used to switching up her look regularly for different campaigns and catwalks.

In September, she swapped out her trademark long, dark hair to flirt with platinum blonde strands for a while. With her hair transformation, she entered a whole new era, too, serving up old money coquette vibes with a shorter Grace Kelly lob and Marilyn-worthy Hollywood waves.

That era has now come to an end though, because despite posting a picture just nine days ago to celebrate her birthday, where Kendall still sported shoulder-length bleach blonde hair, the model shared a surprise new glow-up today with her latest grid post.

Captioning the picture with one single haircut emoji, Kendall's new look sees her return to what looks to be her signature dark brunette (although, the image is in black and white), but most notably she's shed about four or five inches of length, taking her hair above her shoulders to jaw-length.

It might just be the shortest the model has ever gone IRL. While she's experimented with short pixie wigs for shoots and runway shows, her previous (genuine) bobs have all been more in lob territory, falling just around or above her collarbone.

However, as many people who have bleached their hair before will know, what often follows platinum is a big chop to prune away the frazzled lengths that can take a beating with peroxide. Not only does Kendall's new hair era return her strands to peak health, but it's also bang on trend with bobs (particularly the boyish and boxy variety) set to lead in 2025.

For extra style kudos, we love the style tucked behind an ear (like Kendall Jenner above). It's cool, it's casual and it's going on our inspo board immediately.
