Keke Palmer shared some new looks for the holiday season, and the focal point of both happens to be one of the biggest hair trends of 2025: Birkin bangs. The actor is known to pull off fun, bold looks, and even though this was one of her more subtle beauty transformations, she still styled the trends in two very different ways, giving us the best of both worlds.
First, Keke shared an Instagram post celebrating the holiday season with a very on-theme look. She wore her long black hair straight with soft curls at the ends and angled her shorter layers towards her face.
Her fringe appeared to be fuller here, adding volume to the look. Coupled with a bright red lip and a navy and green argyle cardigan, Keke’s aesthetic was totally preppy and festive.

However, for New Year’s, Keke totally changed it up. She came back with a much edgier look, still showcasing her Birkin bangs. This time, her long black hair was tousled with soft waves while her bangs were styled into sleek straight clusters.
That makes a trend, right?

Committing to the edgy vibe, she opted for equally trendy siren eyeliner. She outlined her eyes with thick black eyeliner, adding some sharpness to the inner corners and subtle wings. She completed the look with a pale pink blush and a matte nude lip, going all in on the indie sleaze vibe.
Her glam was accented by a gold choker necklace, which she wore with a distressed strapless Jean Paul Gaultier dress and a red coat.
Even her phone accessories made it into the OOTD snap. She posed for a mirror selfie with her Casetify phone case, which featured a design of lipstick kiss marks by Allison Reich, and a matching pink heart phone charm strap.
Keke Palmer’s looks are great examples of how to get this stylish 2025 hair trend for yourself and make it your own. It doesn’t come as much of a surprise as she has a knack for experimenting with different styles, from her hyper-glam take on leopard print to her tweed twist on the controversial Tabis shoes.
