Kate Middleton made her first red carpet appearance since giving birth to Prince George in July.
The Duchess of Cambridge wore a sparkling Jenny Packham gown for the occasion, as she accompanied William to the Tusk Foundation gala dinner at The Royal Society in London.
The 31-year-old had her trademark blow dry and wore matching silver stiletto heels and diamond jewellery.
Prince William accompanied her in black tie and both new parents looked happy and relaxed, even though William has revealed that Kate is bearing the brunt of the night baby duties and that their son is nocturnal in nature.
The outing came on the day that Prince William confirmed that he would be leaving the military to take on royal duties full time.
He is set to have a transitional year in which he will consider his options for "public service and move his family from their current home in Anglesey to Kensington Palace in London.
