It's official: the majority of British ladies prefer Kate Middleton's natural look to Michelle Keegan's bronzed skin - and even Cheryl Cole's trademark smoky eye.
When British women were asked to take part in a QVC study, 61% said K-Middy was their ultimate beauty icon, with 39% going for Cheryl, 23% going for Michelle Keegan - and shockingly, only 6% opting for model of the moment Cara Delevingne.
Seems like the Duchess of Cambridge's glossy locks and natural make-up is a favourite with the ladies of Britain - and the stats on what sort of look men prefer may explain why.
The survey revealed that 73% of men prefer women who wear less make-up and 55% look for women who have perfect, glowing skin.
And even though we may prefer the natural look to a bold red lippie, the study also revealed how reliant we girls are on our make-up, with 78% saying they only feel comfortable in their own skin once their make-up has been applied, and 23% admitting that they'd even sacrifice meals to purchase their essential beauty products.
