Listen, we know Justin Bieber is far from perfect, but the way he champions wife Hailey Bieber is completely and utterly adorable - although, to be fair, if our wife looked like Hailey, we wouldn't have a hard time shouting about her either. And case in point on Justin's public appreciation for his spouse most recently came in the form of an Instagram post after the Met Gala.
The prestigious event took place on Monday (2 May) and saw the world's biggest stars hit the red carpet for the most glamorous night in the fashion calendar. Standout celebs included Blake Lively (hello, dramatic dress transformation to end all dress transformations), Lizzo, Kim Kardashian, Gigi Hadid and Billie Eilish, but our Justin only had eyes for one attendee: Hailey.
“My eyes belong to you, my lips belong to you.”
Though he actually didn't attend the event himself this year (no one actually knows why), he wasn't going to be stopped from being the ultimate Stan for his wife, taking the social media platform to share a photo featuring Hailey Bieber's stunning ivory-coloured backless dress by Saint Laurent's Anthony Vaccarello to his 233 million followers.
The gown itself, which felt pretty bridal to us, featured a halter neck and a thigh-high slit, and Hailey accessorised with black tights and heels with jewelled toe straps and crisscross decorations at the ankles. She finished her look with a 1920s-inspired statement shawl that reached the floor and was covered in white feathers, while she kept her hair simple, sporting one of her signature styles: a snug middle-parting bun.

And Justin clearly felt that words couldn't sum up how incredible his wife looked, so he used the rocket emoji instead to summarise his feelings: "🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀," and Hailey responded with a red heart. The singer also shared various photos of his wife on the red carpet on his Instagram Stories.

So far, the post has received almost 3 million likes and countless comments, including from a few celeb fans. “A queen," wrote Khloe Kardashian, with Felisha Fury echoing her words, adding: “Queeeeeeeen.”
And us mere mortals were pretty taken with the show of support too: “Just another post of Justin supporting his beautiful wifey, as every husband should,” wrote one user, while another commented: “Man your so lucky to have her! can you beleve she is real like?! girl shes so fireeeee🔥🔥.”
Basically, if we don't see our partner posting a photo of us to his Instagram grid very soon, we'll be having a pretty stern word or two. Thanks, Justin Bieber, for always keeping our standards high.
