Julia Roberts has been out promoting her latest film, Netflix's Leave the World Behind, and it's safe to say she's been serving up some major looks along the way.
In a recent post by her makeup artist Genevieve Herr, we couldn't help but notice the actor's striking eye makeup, with her smudged eyeliner perfectly accentuating her brown eyes. The actor was seen wearing the look out in New York, and we're dubbing it ‘short smudge eyeliner’.
The key element of the eye makeup is the short, blended eyeliner that frames the eyes without making it appear smaller, as can often be the case with the typical smokey eye.

Better still, the look is simple enough to recreate, especially as Genevieve Herr has kindly listed out all of the products she uses!
Starting off with a hydrating primer and long-lasting foundation for a glowy, radiant complexion, for the eyeliner she opted for the Eyeliner Le Stylo Waterproof in "Noir Intense" from Lancôme. For the full effect, be sure to only apply it up to the corner of the eye, not beyond as you would with a cat eye.
Under the eye she creates a fine line at the lash line with Le Crayon Khôl in “Noir” before gently blending with a cotton bud or smudge brush.
This eyeliner is then complemented with fresh rosé eyeshadow, best applied before your liner. Round off with Lancôme's cult mascara Hypnôse Drama and you're all set!

If you're after a lipstick to match it with, Julia Roberts' makeup artist used Lipliner Le Lip in “Bronzelle” and the matching lipstick L'Absolu Rouge in “Lover's Whispers”.
