A while back we told you that River Island has teamed up with Parisienne model and muse Julia Restoin-Roitfeld to create a collection for children from newborn to five-years-olds. Well, the wait is over, the collection drops TODAY and we had an exclusive look at the collection...
The adorable range for River Island Mini was inspired by Julia's younger years, her Parisian roots and her love of vintage.
Let's not forget that fashion is in her blood; Julia's mum is former French Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld, and she was a child model growing up.
After the birth of her daughter Romy, Julia created a successful website, Romy and the Bunnies which is an online platform offering lifestyle inspiration for modern mums.
The 30-piece collection is for both boys and girls, and caters for newborns and goes up to children of 5-years-old. Julia said: "My mum had so much fun dressing myself and my brother when we were little and now I am doing the same with Romy. I just want other parents to be able to have the same fun!"
So what can you expect? Think lace dresses, silk bloses, tough biker jackets and bomber jackets. For the boys, cable knit jumpers and cute cord tousers.
