Better late than never! Dame Judi Dench delighted her fans this week as she unveiled her very first tattoo - which she had done just in time for her 81st birthday.
The actress revealed that the tattoo on her wrist - which reads Carpe Diem (meaning sieze the day) - was actually a present from her daughter Finty Williams.
Speaking to Surrey Life magazine, Judi said of the new inking: "That's my motto: 'Seize the day.'"
She continued: "Finty gave it to me for my 81st birthday - she's wonderful with surprises."
Judi showed off the tattoo at a James Bond gala evening to celebrate the 60th anniversary of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award.
