My post-partum hair loss is no joke: it's lacklustre, frazzled and I have a baby hair for every hour of the night I've been kept awake in the past 12 months.
I've tried everything to bring my hair back to its former glory and I think I've finally found the answer in the form of a £36.99 shampoo and conditioner duo: the JSHealth 2-step haircare system.
I first spotted the haircare on brand and small business consultant Holly Scarsella's Instagram, and as she's the owner of the glossiest hair I've ever witnessed, I had to investigate.

So what exactly is the 2-step haircare system? The shampoo and conditioner are the latest of-shoot of vitamin brand, JSHealth, which was founded by Clinical Nutritionist Jessica Sepel, and is one of the most successful health empires in Australia which counts Mollie King, Millie Mackintosh and Rochelle Humes as loyal fans.

Jess and her team of leading health experts created a range of best-selling vitamins and supplements using 'the transformational power of nutrients...with powerful ingredients backed by science'; each product is solution-focused and aims to make people (and women specifically) feel empowered about taking control of their health on their terms. After the success of the supplements range, the brand has launched a vitamin-powered haircare range, created to elevate the health and lustre of hair whilst nourishing the scalp.
The brand says its results-focused blend is designed to transform hair from root to tip, with seven carefully curated ingredients including vegan keratin that are proven to enhance, nourish, hydrate and repair strands, plus support scalp health.
To be fair to them, I can attest that the products stand up to the claims. Whilst it did take a few washes to see results, on my fourth go, my hair was left squeaky clean but didn't feel stripped (which is no mean feat for a sulfate and paraben-free shampoo). For the first time in a very long time, people actually complimented my hair; it felt stronger, glossier and much sleeker - and if the reviews are anything to go by, I'm not alone in my praise of the product.

On Trustpilot, the range has 80% 5-star reviews, with hundreds of positive reviews. “Beautiful haircare..can really notice an improvement in thickness and softness,” wrote one impressed user, whilst another added: “Amazing, my hair has never been so healthy & soft.” Another reviewer wrote: “This shampoo and conditioner is beautiful and will be one I will forever purchase. It’s gentle on your hands and transforms your hair after every wash. Everyone needs this in their life!," and another posted: “I have thick frizzy hair.
