You won't even need to cast your mind back to the mid-2000s to remember this comparison because the catchphrase of "yeah but, no but, yeah but" followed by a long and incomprehensible nonsense explanation was so popular that it once beat The Simpsons' "Doh!" in a British poll of popular comedy catchphrases.
Rowling went on to expand on her theory, with a Pollard-esque description of how Trump might do it. And by might, we naturally mean "how that hideous man speaks 98% of the time".

Matt Lucas, the co-creator of Little Britain who played Vicky Pollard in the sketches, retweeted Rowling's joke, while some seriously upsetting Trump/Pollard photoshopping ended up in the comments. Lol.
