JK Rowling has mocked Rupert Murdoch over his controversial tweets asserting that all Muslims (or, as he writes, "Moslems") must be held accountable for jihadi attacks.

Murdoch, the News Corp boss, shared his views on Twitter on Saturday, after French police killed three Islamist hostage-takers at a Jewish supermarket and printing warehouse.
But Murdoch was not yet done and he went onto condemn political correctness (because obviously that sort of ethical thinking that avoids marginalisation and discrimination always leads to bad news).

Step forward JK Rowling, who said she would excommunicate if being born a Christian made Murdoch her responsibility.

She then offered to assume responsibility for the Spanish inquisition, Christian fundamentalist violence and Jim Bakker - an American televangelist, who served five years in prison for fraud. In his New Years message, he blamed the legislation of abortion and "religion being taken out of schools" as the reason the US hasn't won a war recently.
