Fresh from co-hosting last week's Met Gala in New York on the first Monday in May, Jennifer Lopez was in Paris over the weekend showing us that even off duty, she never ever lets the side down on her style icon status. She really does nail it every. Single. Time.
Having been spotted visiting the Louvre with her 16-year-old daughter, Emme Muniz, J-Lo was in the City of Light for a few days.
And when off duty, and especially on this European trip, Jen has been flexing a wide legged baggy jean of late, and on this outing she chose to create the most simple - yet most elegantly chic - look possible, pairing it with a white t-shirt: but make it cropped.
Hers looks significantly more glamorous than the one I'm wearing right now, if I'm being honest.

The singer, actor and all round icon took to the sunny Parisian streets in this tres chic look with some simple white sneaks and an emerald green mini Dior bag adding a pop of colour to the overall look. (Note, Emme was also seen sporting matching baggy, wide-leg jeans just days earlier.)
J-Lo standard oversized aviator sunnies, J-Lo standard large gold hoop earrings plus serious arm candy bling and a mussed up bun completed the understated Parisian chic of it all - but with a twist of Jenny from the Block.
And as if that wasn't enough, we got a great style lesson from Ms Jennifer Lopez on how to transform this look with one simple garment: an oversized sweater for when it got chilly.
Keeping the proportions between the garments and adding a touch of off-white texture with the sweater, most certainly gave the look a new dimension, while retaining its classic chic.
