This news has just made Friday totally fetch. Jennifer Aniston is rumoured to be in talks with producers to star in a grown-up version of Mean Girls.
Entitled Mean Moms, the film will be an adaptation of Rosalind Wiseman's book about competitive parenting in the suburbs. Whilst the film isn't actually a Mean Girls sequel, the same author wrote Queen Bees and Wannabes, which the cult film starring Lindsay Lohan was based on.
According to The Wrap, Jen An is in talks with New Line studios after starring in the sucessful films Horrible Bosses and We're the Millers - although nothing is confirmed yet.
The film will follow a happily married mother of two who moves from a small town to the rich suburbs where she has to deal with the cutthroat world of competitive parenting. We think Jen will be great as the Cady Haron of suburbia - but the question is, who will they cast as the Regina George of the parenting world please say Amy Poehler?
