Poor old Jason Derulo.
He wasn't even at the Met Gala last night, but has still become an internet laughing point after someone tweeted a picture of him allegedly falling down the event's grand stairs.
The picture was, in fact, taken at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival and shows a man, known only as "Cannes Fall Guy", taking a tumble. It managed to fool most of Twitter anyway, and Derulo's name began trending as many offered their sympathies.
Derulo dismissed the reports on Instagram; he's rehearsing in LA.

All in all a mixed day for Derulo - he may not have been invited to the Met Gala, but at least he didn't stack it down the stairs, nor is he known as "Cannes Fall Guy".
