January Jones celebrated her pregnancy by throwing a baby shower on the beach in Malibu.
The Mad Men star invited a gathering of her closest friends to the bash on Saturday.
An insider told reporters: "[January] seemed happy to be spending time at the beach with her friends. Everyone was laughing and seemed to have a great time. January was in a happy and playful mood."
Jones announced that she was pregnant with her first child in April. She is yet to reveal who the father is, but has ruled out X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn.
Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner recently claimed that Jones wanted to have a baby "very badly".
He also revealed that her pregnancy will be hidden on Mad Men and will not be written into the series.
