Katy Perry has announced that 17-year-old, Instagram makeup artist, James Charles, is to be the first ever man to star in a Covergirl campaign.
Katy Perry, who launched her CoverGirl Kitty Kat Collection with the brand in April 2016, announced the "CoverBoy" news on her Instagram this morning. Posting a photo of her and James, she wrote: "Just wrapped another great @COVERGIRL shoot. Honoured to have the pleasure to announce the very first COVERBOY, James Charles! Follow him@JCharlesBeauty! #COVERGIRLJames #glam (sic)."

Those who watched America's Next Top Model will be familiar with the American cosmetic brand as the show's winner would land a "contract with Covergirl" (can't you just hear Tyra Banks saying it?!).
