You'll just about be aware of the name Jack Garratt filtering into popular vocabulary. And even more so now since the singer has been named the BBC Sound of 2016. But who exactly is Jack Garratt?
He's 24-year-old
Little Chalfont, a small village in Buckinghamshire
It's been described as similar to the electronica of James Blake mixed with soulful melodies like Ed Sheeran.
He spent a lot of his teenage years experimenting at his parents' home. He reportedly wrote his first song aged 12 and taught himself to play LOTS of instruments like the guitar, harmonica, drums, piano and ukulele. Jack made his big break when he posted to the BBC Introducing Uploader in 2009 which lead to a radio play on BBC Introducing in Beds, Herts and Bucks.
He had a big 2015: He won the BRITs Critics' Choice Award and completed a sold out a UK tour. This year he is going on to support Mumford & Sons on their UK arena tour, before another headline tour including a night at London's Brixton Academy in April.
Weird fact: he's really good mates with Breaking Bad's Aaron Paul!
