Huda Beauty have recently launched a new product to add to their roster and this one comes in the form of a multi-purpose lip, eye, cheek tint for a naturally flushed with a stunning matte finish that lasts all day long.

The Lip Blushes come in five shades, ranging from the berries, to more orange tints and there is something that suits every undertone. The formula is watery but still hydrating, high in pigment yet transfer-proof, and glides easily across lips and cheeks.

This lip stain’s formulation is also powered by skin-loving ingredients, including hyaluronic acid powder that provides deep hydration and coconut extract which conditions and moisturises the skin, but it’s free from parabens and mineral oil. An epic skincare hybrid.

With a lightweight and buildable formula, these Lip Blushes seems like the perfect product to completely streamline your makeup and add a natural, pop of colour to your everyday makeup. With that in mind, we test the five shades on five people with different complexions and skin types and here are their truest and most honest thoughts.

Any product that can multitask is a yes from me. The less faff and things to pack I have to worry about, the better. So, the Huda Lip Blush is right up my street. I tried the shade Rosy Kiss which is a purple-toned pink. It comes out of the tube a little more brown-looking, so I was hesitant to apply too much on the first go, but after rubbing in, the pink starts to show.

If I could ask for one thing, it would be a little more punch in the pigment but it left a super natural, glowy, low-maintenance flush of colour which I really like. I used it again the next morning after the gym and it was the perfect product to bring some life to my skin and lips in a rush. *Adds every other colour to my basket*

As someone who can never keep a statement lip on and always ends up with it smudged down their chin, I appreciate a lip stain. This is silky to apply and feels more lightweight, hydrating and comfortable on lips than a liquid lipstick. It stains lips within seconds so even if you loose some of the creamy top layer to the sandwich you ate for lunch, the tint will stay with you for the day. Perfect for a low-maintenance lip colour. I tried the shade Coral kiss, a peppy orange-pink that's a total mood boost and perfect for summer.

Shade: Peachy Kiss

I'm usually one to shy away from liquid or cream blushes as they've been known to remove my makeup underneath before, but I'm always down to be proven wrong. A lightweight and watery formula that's easily buildable, Huda Beauty's Lipblush is innovative (I mean, hello, it's two products in one) and fun. As we often match our lip shades to our cheeks anyway, I liked the fact that this product made that even easier and that the wand accommodated for both areas.

On initial application I was pleasantly surprised, but when I went in for a second coat it became slightly patchy and I had to really blend it to fix those areas. It could have been my fault for leaving it too long and it may have dried down, so my advice is: if you want more pigment (and who doesn't?), act fast.

I’m not much of a tint person, but I decided to give this lip blush a good go, since I love me some Huda Beauty. I dotted the pigmented wand three times up the temples of my cheek and then proceeded to blend it with my fingers. It gave me a really healthy and natural looking sheen to give me that cute, rosy cheeks finish. The formula is watery, but still allows for strong colour deposit.

I then went for the lips. When I say, ‘it’s not you, it’s me’, it’s very much true. I think that as far as lip tints go, this Lip Blush does exactly what it’s supposed to do, however I’m not a huge fan of lip tints in general, so it was always going to be a hard sell for me.

I have duo coloured lips, so adding a gentle tint to my lips will make the colour uneven as my top lip is brown while my bottom is pink. Perhaps I could play with two different shades to balance the colours, but to me it was more than that. I like a glossy finish or something super hydrating, so the formula didn’t really do it for me either. Not ready to give up on it completely though, so liquid blush it is…

Shade: Apricot Kiss

I’m a lip stain girlie through and through. They’re fun, long-lasting and easy to blend. That being said, in my experience, not every lip tint product is a must-buy. The formula has to be hydrating enough so as not to dry your lips out and the pigment has to last you a good while without turning into a typical reddish tint overtime. It’s safe to say that I was definitely excited to try out the new Huda Beauty Lip Blush range. Most of all, I found that the colour range is fun enough for the summer yet wearable for an everyday look.

I tried the Apricot Kiss colour, which, not to be dramatic, could be the prettiest lip tint I’ve tried on my skin tone. It added a gorgeous peachy tint to my lips and cheeks, which worked very well with the rest of my makeup. I was really impressed by the formula too, especially the creamy and hydrating consistency that was super easy to blend with my fingers. Definitely something I’ll be throwing in my purse throughout the whole summer and beyond.
