Then Wentworth Miller publicly came out by writing to The St Petersburg International Film Festival, explaining that he couldn't attend as the situation in Russia for the LGBT community was unacceptable. Total dudes, both of them.
Kit Harington's Abs Hitherto hidden beneath the thousand layers of fur that Jon Snow must sport north of The Wall - they were unveiled in all their glory this week as Kit stripped off and oiled up in the Pompeii trailer (1.09 if you want to get straight to the good stuff).
Antoinette Tuff The totally badass woman who talked down a gunman at an elementary school in Georgia. Yep, when the school clerk saw a man enter the school on Tuesday afternoon brandishing an AK-47, she didn't run - instead she confronted him and calmly kept him talking for 25 minutes while on the phone to emergency workers, so the school could evacuate its 870 pupils. Tuff convinced him to surrender to police and no one was injured, all thanks to her bravery - and sheer awesomeness.

Ana Maria Jimenez Ortiz The Mexican congresswoman made the news this week for her bizarre stance against gay marriage. Her reason for opposing it? Gay couples don't face each other during sex. Er, what? We think we need to explain a few things to her.
Chris Fountain The Corrie star's vile - not to mention pretty sinister - 'rap' rants against women earned him an immediate inclusion in the douchebag list.
