Harrods is a tourist attraction year-round, but Christmas is where the luxury department store really comes into its own. Thousands are spent on decking the aisles of the store, and the Christmas window display is stunning enough to rival the most Christmassy locations in the world.

Last year, Harrods partnered with Burberry for their 'A Very British Fairy Tale’ which was quintessentially British down to the very last detail, but for this year, the theme is more European. Italian food markets, exclusive men and women's ready-to-wear collections, accessories and displays designed by none other than Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana. Yep, you guess it - it's a very D&G Christmas!

Dolce & Gabbana are taking over Harrods, transforming it into an Italian Christmas feast for the eyes. The window displays each take on a different scenes that mirror Italian life including a homely kitchen (complete with stuffed animal pets and a Dolce & Gabbana fridge), a tailors, watchmakers, hair salon and disco. Each scene features puppets and mannequins dressed in D&G. Seriously - you could stare at these windows for hours.

As for the rest of the store, Dolce & Gabbana decorations will adorn the aisles (we can only imagine the craftsmanship of those baubles) and an Italian ‘Luminera’ installation will be present.
