Far away from our cold shores, Rio De Janeiro is currently holding their yearly awe-inspiring event: Carnival! And while Brazilians and lots of tourists party for a full week in the sun, we watch on via Instagram (wishing that instead, we were there, tanning in Copacabana or drinking coconut water in Ipanema).

As you'd expect, weeks and weeks of preparation goes into curating the incredible costumes, and women spend hours in hair and makeup to make their skin glow, their makeup pop and their hair hold in the most elaborate styles.
